To know me is to understand that I’m a lover of film, plants, hot coffee in the morning and quality time with those I cherish most. I’m a daydreamer, a passionate business owner, an encourager (others' success is just as important as my own) and someone who values community. I feel called to see the world through my art alongside my husband and picture our future kids holding our hands through it all.

THIS IS
I AM
Who
About me; I was never a person who fit into the crowd. My experience of life and this world always felt contrasting to those around me. My expression naturally came through art. Starting at a young age, doodling, sketching, shading + a hyper-fixation on realism became my norm as that is how I perceived the world; black and white + much too literal thinking. My photography journey started around 10 years old and opened my eyes to more than what was right in front of me. The world and God’s creation became my canvas and over time, art felt a little less unvarnished. I started to experiment with composition, lighting, post production and what it meant to share my art and world experience with those around me. I was instantly gratified and felt seen. I finally fit in somewhere, and it was within a world I had created for myself.
To everyone's surprise, I never wanted a career in photography. Circling back to the “much too literal” side of my brain, posed portraits never satisfied my soul. It wasn’t until December 2020 that my eyes were opened to the the world of a photo-journalistic approach to wedding photography and my perspective completely changed; a switch went off and I knew, that was what I was meant to do. By spring of 2021, I had successfully created my business and became a full time photographer.
Living in the fast City of LA with my husband in our tiny apartment, my heart is to be fully wrapped up in life’s best moments, to embrace the worst and to produce something light into a world full of darkness.
